Really Tho? Man Popped For Selling Fake iPads Made Of Glass and Duct Tape Out The Back Of A Lincoln Navigator
A Tennessee man was arrested Sunday on charges that he attempted to sell fake laptop computers out of his vehicle late last year in southern Jefferson County. Emanuel M. Lee, 28, of Cleveland, Tenn., was charged with prohibiting commerce of counterfeit goods and services, according to an arrest warrant.
The warrant states that a Louisville Metro Police detective located Lee and another man on Nov. 15 at Blue Lick Road and South Park Road attempting to sell computer goods from a Lincoln Navigator.
The detective discovered what appeared to be laptop computers and iPads inside the vehicle and confiscated the merchandise, according to the warrant. An investigation showed that the computers were only “shells” without hard drives and keyboards and labels had been taped onto the items.
Police also discovered that the fake devices were made with a piece of glass and white duct tape around the edges with an Apple label glued to the back.
Lee and another man, who has not been identified, were cited at the scene in November on charges unrelated to counterfeiting, but an arrest warrant was issued in December after investigators found the computers to be fakes.

A Wellington couple have been found guilty of taking part in threesomes with a 15-year-old relative.
The 49-year-old man and the 37-year-old woman were found guilty by a Wellington District Court jury on Saturday of having underage sex with the teenager and the man was found guilty of supplying her with cannabis.
The man was found not guilty of doing an indecent act on her which related to asking her for a kiss on Mt Victoria in 2007.
The girl who is the woman’s cousin had come to live with the couple in 2008 to escape trouble she had been getting into in Hawke’s Bay.
After smoking cannabis with the pair one night she was taken to their bed.
She said they had sex with her multiple times together and separately.
After one time the woman thanked her for “making my man feel young again.”
She was taken back to Hawke’s Bay after other members of her family found out what had happened.
The man has a previous conviction for sleeping with a 15-year-old girl, who is now his wife.
They are both to be sentenced in March.
Defence lawyers told the jury in closing statements that the girl had made it all up to get herself out of trouble.

Several New York gang members are in serious trouble as police are investigating three murders and have arrested 43 rival gang members based on evidence collected from monitoring what the gang members were saying about the cases on Twitter and Facebook, authorities said.
According to Reuters, the 25 accused members of the Wave Gang and 18 accused members of rival Hoodstarz have been terrorizing streets in Brooklyn with shootouts that led to the killing of three people and wounding of several others, New York Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said.
The gang members, ages 15 to 21, bragged about the shootings on the social media sites Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. The tension between the two crews began in August and apparently the gangsters never took firing classes as they missed their intended targets and so far have killed an innocent bystander and wounded a 9-year-old boy and his dad.
Wave Gang members often robbed 13 and 14-year-olds by threatening to steal their bikes and electronics to intimidate them into joining their gangs, Hynes said. The 43 gang members were indicted on Thursday on charges including murder, assault, reckless endangerment, robbery and weapon possession, with potential sentences ranging from a year to life in prison.

Are You Serious? Corpse Of Missing Colorado Man Found In Movie Theater Bathroom Where It Rotted For Five Days After Heart Attack
A five day hunt for a missing northern Colorado man ended when his decomposing body was discovered in a locked movie theater bathroom.
Fort Collins authorities say George DeGrazio, 66, of Loveland, died of a heart attack inside the locked family restroom of the Cinemark theater on Jan. 9, the same day his family reported him missing.
Ticket-takers broke down the bathroom door on Saturday after noticing a sickening smell, authorities said.
An autopsy showed that DeGrazio died from a heart attack caused by severe coronary artery disease.
DeGrazio’s anguished family slammed the theater management for not doing more to find their father after his red Nissan Xterra was found in the movie house’s lot on Wednesday.
“If I had the police department saying somebody disappeared in this area and we’re trying to locate him, I would be searching every nook and cranny of my establishment,” DeGrazio’s son, Dylan, told location station KMGH. “But that didn’t happen.”
Dylan DeGrazio said he continues to be haunted by the way his father died.
“I picture him just sitting there in this, like, slumped over, eyes-open position,” he told the station.
“That’s just the sheer reality of it. For somebody who didn’t know George, that is just a corpse rotting in a bathroom, and that disgusts me,” he said.
Cinemark said in a statement Monday that five employees were placed on leave after the incident.
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the DeGrazio family during this difficult period as they mourn the loss of a loved family member,” the theater said.
Police were not investigating the incident and no charges were expected to be filed because DeGrazio died of natural causes, KMGH said.

Costa Concordia survivor has told how her husband saved her life before drowning – because there was ‘nobody there’ to save him. Frenchwoman Nicole Servel, 61, said Francis Servel, 71, gave her his lifejacket before they leapt off the sinking cruise ship. She said: ‘I owe my life to my husband – it’s obvious he saved me.’ She managed to swim for shore, while Mr Servel was swept underwater and drowned.’
The horrific story was just one of many to emerge after the cruise ship crashed into rocks off the Italian island of Giglio, Italy, on Friday night, leaving seven dead and 29 still missing. Speaking from her home near Toulouse, south west France, Mrs Servel recounted the terror as passengers were left in utter panic in the pitch dark, with little or no assistance from the crew.
‘He shouted: “Jump, jump, jump”. I can’t swim so he gave me his life jacket. ‘I froze and couldn’t jump, but he jumped off the ship and shouted upwards ‘Come on, don’t worry. ‘I jumped off and the last thing I heard him say was that I would be fine. Then I never saw him again.
‘The water was only eight degrees. When I was alone in the water I thought of my children, my grandchildren. The thought of them kept me afloat. It kept me living. I do not know how I did it.
‘I swam for several minutes. I am unable to say exactly how long. And then I found myself on a rock. Villagers came to pick us up. They led us to a church. I was very cold, frozen. In the sacristy we found a cassock. I took it. It made me warm.’

Obviously Bee and Hova didn’t sign off on the new strain — but so far, none of the dispensaries have received any sort of legal notice from the couple.

A very bizarre New Year's Eve argument in a Cleveland suburb over the union of R&B singer Beyoncé and rapper-business mogul Jay-Z resulted in the stabbing of a 48-year old Garland Heights man just before the clock struck midnight.
Police officials for the city of Parma, just southwest of Cleveland, told a local Fox News affiliate that on December 31, an argument ensued between 31-year old Ronald Deaver and the stabbing victim. While watching a music video, Deaver became enraged that the victim was unaware that Beyoncé was the wife of Jay-Z, leading to the verbal clash and subsequent stabbing.
The Fox News station obtained the police report which states the attack allegedly took place at around 11 p.m. on New Year's Eve, just outside of Deaver's apartment. Authorities were alerted and headed to the scene, rushing the victim to nearby Metrohealth Medical Center where he was said to be in good condition.
Deaver's arrest was not immediate after police found difficulty in locating his apartment. After finding his assumed place of residence, a woman told police officials Deaver no longer lived in the apartment. Deaver was found a short while later and charged with felonious assault. The 31-year old woman that police made initial contact with was also arrested for obstructing justice.

We all know the crack epidemic has long gone global, but Canada's Vancouver Eastside seems to be enabling their dope fiends.
The area also known as Vancouver's "Square Mile Of Vice" is home to the city's track which includes drug dealing, prostitution and homelessness and check this...it houses the city's only residential Black community. The UK's Daily Mail reports that the city is now adopting a program to provide free crack pipes to its drug-addicted population in an effort to stop the spread of HIV and Hepatitis B and C.
The $60-thousand 8-month trial is being conducted by The Vancouver Coastal Health Harm Reduction program. 60,000 kits are expected to be distributed at 5 different locations.
The Vancouver Coastal Health Harm Reduction program also states that since the city's heroin users already receive clean needles from the needle exchange program, they should try to create a safer inhalation program for those who are addicted to crack. They also hope to persuade users to enter into drug rehab programs since they'll have access to many of the addicts coming in to get free pipes as well as mouthpieces, filters, alcohol swabs, screens and push sticks.
The majority of users are males between the ages of 20 to 60 and Vancouver's Coastal Health Authority spokesperson Trudi Beutel says,
"It's about preventing more communicable diseases which land these people in hospital on a frequent basis and clog up emergency rooms."
There is some opposition though to the program as David Brener, director of the Drug Prevention Network of Canada, said,
"Programs like this ignore the problems of addiction. All this does is aid and abet. What we should do is put that same amount of money into treatment and prevention. Because treatment and prevention work."

The 23-year-old South African woman llegedly matted 1.5kg of cocaine into her dreadlocks and boarded a plane from Brazil to Bangkok. Had she been successful, she would have netted $1,925. (Talk about being a mule literally.)
Nolubabalo, who was coming from Brazil, was busted in Thailand after authorities discovered a suspicious white substance in her hair. The substance turned out to be cocaine wrapped in plastic and concealed inside each lock.

Talk about coming up short, a New Jersey man died after trying to have his penis enlarged...with silicone.
Essex County Prosecutors have charged 34-year-old Kasia Rivera with manslaughter after injecting 22-year-old Justin Street with silicone in his penis which caused his death. Rivera made her court appearance on Tuesday and pleaded not guilty but remains in jail on $75,000 bail.
Street succumbed the day after his lethal injection and his death was ruled a homicide following an investigation and a medical examiner's determination he died of a silicone embolism.
Rivera also faces charges of the unauthorized practice of medicine out of her East Orange apartment and authorities say they're investigating whether she gave other people similar injections.

A North Platte man has been sentenced to a year in jail for being drunk when he drove his lawn mower on a city street on his way to a liquor store. Donald Wymer was sentenced Tuesday in a Lincoln County court to 365 days in the county jail for a third-offense drunken driving conviction. The 51-year-old Wymer’s driver’s license also was suspended for 15 years, and he was ordered to pay a $600 fine.
Police say an officer saw Wymer drive to liquor store on his riding lawn mower. After he left the liquor store, a Nebraska State Patrol trooper stopped him in a residential neighborhood, where he failed a field sobriety test.

“The funny thing is, I didn’t know who Drake was,” tattoo artist Kevin Campbell told the site. “I figured it was her hood or some sh*t, not some goofnugget R&B dude.”

He went on to say that she seemed pretty high, but pretty adamant about her decision. Her eyebrows were shaved in preparation and after he asked her three times if she wanted to do it she insisted.
“The shop where I worked prior to Will Rise was in the center of the Harbor City Crip neighborhood, so I’m not really a stranger to tattooing gang sh*t on faces,” Campbell explained.
“Which is what I originally thought that this was. I guess I feel bad that this dumbass got the name of the softestmotherf*cker in hip-hop tattooed on her forehead.”
